2&Fro Taxis are a Taxi service based in Cirencester.
Because of the location of Cirencester the company provides taxi services covering
Airports (Bristol / Kemble / London etc).
2&Fro Taxis also provide taxis for events such as the Cheltenham festival and of course,
taxi services around the Cotswolds and the town of Cirencester.
2&Fro Taxis have created links with many of the leading businesses in the
Cotswold area to offer a truly door to door service.

We initially started with a simple website which provided
clients with information about 2&Fro Taxis and the services they offer.
The second phase of development was the delivery of an online booking
system that automates as much of the booking process
as possible and to help the drivers and customers in equal measure.
The site is a good demonstration of Web-dominions design and technical abilities.
Over the last year the site has grown in complexity and depth.

1 - Right alignment |
|
|
When we started working on the website we wanted to deliver a
site with something different.
To create a strong visual presence we decided to put the site to the right of
the browser pane.
The effect was amplified by the use of "three" - the use of three
main columns of graphics to the right of the screen.
The page then forms a long vertical page that means every thing is visible on an 800 x 600 pixel
screen with scrolling only required. |

2 - Link through |

In order to allow the staff at 2&Fro Taxis to update the site
we have provided a way of allowing the image to be changed and
updated.
Manuals were provided to help the staff do this simple
procedure.
Because the staff can change the image they can focus the
site to cater for local events with ease. |

3 - Logical design |
|
|
The site is designed to filter down the users requirements.
The site is also designed to automate as much of the process as possible
thus reducing workloads on the taxi office staff.

4 - Expansion |
|
|
The site has been designed to allow other features and functions
to be added as required. The design is based
on a "rolling" plan, which will allow regular
users to keep the known features of the site in
mind, and will allow future expansion and developments to appear.

Working with 2&Fro Taxis we were able to offer our shopping catalogue to offer
business using the company a listing in the directory. Web-dominion will be working
with 2&Fro Taxis to further develop this part of the site over the next few months.
